With all the bad blood between Sarah Palin and Levi Johnston, you wouldn't imagine there would be a seat for him at the Palins' Thanksgiving dinner table. But, believe it or not, the former governor of Alaska says her grandson's daddy is welcome to break bread with the Palin crew anytime he wants.
"It's lovely to think that he would ever even consider such a thing," Sarah told Oprah Winfrey in an interview set to air on Nov. 16. "Because, of course, you want -- he is a part of the family and you want to bring him in the fold and kind of under your wing. And he needs that, too, Oprah. I think he needs to know that he is loved and he has the most beautiful child and this can all work out for good. It really can."
As for all the public bashing both Levi and Sarah have done to each other recently, Palin tries very hard to side-step the issue, saying, "We don't have to keep going down this road of controversy and drama all the time. We're not really into the drama. We don't really like that. We're more productive. We have other things to concentrate on..."
Levi recently announced plans to file for joint custody of his son with Bristol Palin, Tripp, claiming the Palins give him a hard time when he wants to see his kid.
