She was everywhere this year -- a new book, a new reality show, buzz about a possible presidential candidacy, a visit to the set of Dancing with the Stars to cheer on her daughter -- so it’s no shocker Palin inspired plenty baby girl names (though, interestingly enough, the public doesn’t love her boy names, Tripp and Trig, as much).

“It seems everyone has an opinion about the Palins,” says Bolton. “Whether you love or hate her, you have to admit Sarah Palin’s got a knack for naming. Parents looking for notable and distinct names find it hard to ignore the media coverage surrounding this magnificently monikered family.”
