It was just a matter of time until Saturday Night Live parodied Brad Pitt's recently released Chanel commercial.
The Oct. 20 episode hosted by double-duty musician Bruno Mars featured comedian Taran Killam dressed just like the Hollywood heartthrob -- complete with the slightly unkempt beard and hair -- in a spoof of his cerebral Chanel No. 5 ad. In four takes on the commercial, Killam channels Pitt's ethereal perfume spot, full of philosophical musings and staring off to the side.
At first the sketch starts off just like the real black-and-white ad: "It's not a journey. Every journey ends, but we go on. The world turns, and we turn with it. Plans disappear, dreams take over," Killam's Pitt says.
But all of a sudden, he stops his narration and asks in a spot-on Pitt impersonation, "I'm sorry…is there really no script? Because I've been talking to myself for like two hours straight and I'm starting to sound insane."
He continues, "I'm sorry, is it just me or do I look super homeless? That's what you want? Okay, then. Rock and roll."

It didn't stop with just the initial ad, in which Killam's Pitt makes up a bunch of words; There were also subsequent fake commercials in which Pitt similarly shills for Taco Bell, tattoo removals, and most bizarrely, an ad for a unique condom company.
"There's a yearning inside of all of us…that yearning never dies," Killam goes on in the canine-contraceptive ad. Even if you're a dog. Franklin's Dog Condoms. He's your best friend. Why not be his? And let him keep his balls."
