Last night, Saturday Night Live fans got a little appetizer to hold them off until Saturday's season premiere, which airs tomorrow night and features host Megan Fox and musical guest U2.
The Thursday Night Weekend Update kicked off with Fred Armisen as Barack Obama and Kristen Wiig as a presidential aide in a skit that parodied the President's recent media blitz. A string of cable TV personalities were spoofed as they sat down to discuss the topic of health care.
Celebrity chef Guy Fieri offered his health care plan, which consists of "two beef patties, buttermilk onion rings and chili cheese fries all piled on top of tortilla chips" and finished off with "liquid queso." The President was not impressed.
Kathy Griffin asked the President to ensure health care for "all my gays," except Perez Hilton, her "ex-stylist Julio" and Spencer Pratt (who the mock Kathy Griffin said is definitely gay).
Hills personality Kristin Cavallari barraged Obama with a stream of indecipherable Valley-Girl-speak that wrapped up with "Ohmigad, Audrina, you were supposed to be my friend!"
Andy Samberg played an unidentified vampire from "one of those teenage vampire shows." His request of the President: "Just give us some blood, dude."
SNL alumna and current Parks & Recreation star Amy Poehler was back at the Weekend Update news desk. Alongside anchor and head writer Seth Meyers, she delivered some zingers, including one about a new discovery of hermaphrodite fish, which she joked had been nicknamed "Lady Gagas of The Sea."
After another controversial spoof of blind New York Governor David Patterson, Darrell Hammond reprised his role as a creepy, philandering Bill Clinton, who asked right as he sat down: "Where's Megan Fox?"
If you wanna check out the Thursday Night Weekend Update in its entirety, you can watch it on Saturday Night Live's Video Rewind player right now. Saturday Night Live's 35th season premieres on NBC tomorrow night at 11:30 p.m.
