Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn may be far apart in age, but otherwise, they seem to be getting very close! Just days after their overnight getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Penn, 50, and Johansson, 26, were spotted having dinner for two at the swanky West Hollywood celeb hangout Chateau Marmont. According to People, the Milk actor and Iron Man 2 actress greeted one another with a hug, then had their table moved to someplace a little more private. The pair held hands occasionally and chatted throughout dinner (a salad for her, a burger for him, and red wine for both).
"They looked genuinely happy together," says an eyewitness to the date.
At the end of the night, Penn put his arm around Johansson's back and escorted her to the valet downstairs.
While their reps claim that they've "been friends for years -- nothing more, nothing less," the pair has been spotted together almost weekly since they were seen flirting at a pre-Oscars Black Swan party. The paparazzi even scored a picture of Scarlett and Sean eating lunch together... with her leg in his lap.
Just friends? Something must have gotten "lost in translation"!
Meanwhile, Johansson's ex, Ryan Reynolds, has been spotted getting cozy with 25-year-old German model Agnes Fischer. The pair was seen together recently in South Africa, where he's filming the thriller Safe House and she often models, People reports.
