Scarlett Johansson doesn't stay single for long, does she? One month after her split with Sean Penn, the Iron Man 2 actress may have found a new love interest in Hangover star Justin Bartha.
On Saturday, Johansson, 26, attended the opening of Bartha's off-Broadway show All New People (written by the "still straight" Zach Braff). Afterward, she joined the cast for dinner, and the New York Post reports that she and Bartha, 33, were "completely engrossed in each other."
"There were about 15 people at the table, but Scarlett and Justin sat next to each other and talked all night," an eye-witness tells the paper. "They seemed pretty fascinated with each other and only talked to each other. It looked sometimes flirty, but also they seemed to be involved in a deep discussion."
The two actors were also seen "flirting up a storm" at an N.Y.C. karaoke bar. (Just like the scene in Lost in Translation! Do you think she was singing that Pretenders song, too?)
On the other hand, a source close to Johansson tells People that she and Bartha (who split with girlfriend of two years Ashley Olsen this winter) are just friends. But on the other other hand, Scarlett never admits to dating anybody until they're basically married -- as was the case with ex-husband Ryan Reynolds. (She and Penn were also "just friends," on the record.)
As for Reynolds, the star of The Change-Up hasn't exactly embraced the single life either: He was spotted out with Olivia Wilde in June, and has recently been recently been linked to Charlize Theron. Then again, he's also been spotted on several friendly dinner dates with Johansson since their December separation. Maybe they're comparing notes?
