Sean Penn Files For Legal Separation
They couldn't work it out.
Just when we thought Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn were on the road to recovery, Sean has filed for legal separation.
After both parties filed for divorce last year (first him, then her), both their claims were dismissed at their request in April of 2008. They seemed back together and happy, attending this year's Oscars together, where Sean won Best Actor for his role in Milk.
The two have been married since 1996 and have two teenage children together.
