Summer Fruits: Cherries

How to choose: Look for cherries that are plump, firm and deep red in color. Green stems are a sign of freshness.

How to store: Store cherries in a bowl in the refrigerator for up to ten days. Keep them away from warm areas, as the heat will make them ripen faster. Wash the fruit just before use.
