    Ingredients

    2 pounds (about 3 medium) russet potatoes, scrubbed clean 1 teaspoon onion powder
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    2 tablespoons finely ground cornmeal 1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon paprika 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

      Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Cut the potatoes into 1/2-inch-thick fries. In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with the olive oil.

      In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and mix well. Toss the potatoes with the seasoning mix until each fry is well coated. Spread the fries in a single layer on parchment-lined baking sheets. Cook the fries for 45 minutes, tossing every 15 minutes, or until they’re crispy and browned. Serve with spicy Dijon mustard or ketchup.
