Sit on the ground with your knees bent in front of you. Lean your torso back, so that it is at a 45-degree angle. Keep your shoulders rolled back and your back straight; be careful not to allow your shoulders to curve in. Twisting from your abdominal muscles, reach your right elbow toward the ground, near your right hip. Twist back to center and repeat on the other side. Make sure you are rotating through the abs and not just dropping your arms from side to side. Do 10 to 12 reps on each side. To increase intensity, hold a medicine ball or hand weight, or bring your feet off the floor in a balance.
