WATCH: Behind-the-Scenes Look at Lindsay Lohan in 'Liz & Dick'

In a new Lifetime featurette, Lohan explains how she relates to Elizabeth Taylor and gives viewers an inside look at the film

Lifetime continues their marketing push for Liz & Dick with a new featurette on the buzz-worthy movie -- and the network is seeking to remind fans that leading lady Lindsay Lohan has a lot in common with Elizabeth Taylor.

Her costar, Grant Bowler, even goes as far as to say that LiLo is "pretty much Elizabeth Taylor reincarnated," which we're sure will ruffle quite a few feathers. Sure, Lohan and Taylor were both child stars who found themselves the targets of much paparazzi attention. But Taylor is one of the greatest screen actors of all time, while Lohan has found it hard to keep herself out of jail long enough to finish shooting a movie.

All skepticism aside, we can't stop ourselves from being intrigued by this new production. Lohan pulls off Taylor's look well and clearly finds it easy to relate to the classical film actress. From their lives in the public eye to their love of diamonds to their drug problems, Lohan feels that she can embody the life of Taylor, and that's something we can't wait to see.

"I personally understand Liz because you're living your life for everyone to see and people are growing with you," Lohan says in the video. "You get to the point where you become numb to it and you just live your life the way you feel you want to live it."

According to Lohan, Liz & Dick arcs over Taylor and Burton's entire love story and shows how living in the public eye put a strain on their relationship. We catch some glimpses of Lohan as an older Taylor, and she works it well. Since we're only seeing snippets of the movie, though, we'll have to wait and see if she pulls it off throughout the entire film.

Liz & Dick will come out on Lifetime in November.
