It seems like no one is immune to the charms of 50 Shades of Grey, not even Selena Gomez. The 19-year-old singer-actress has recorded a hilarious new Funny or Die sketch, titled "50 Shades of Blue," in which reading E.L. James' sultry tome gets her all hot and bothered by the appearance of a man who's decidedly less swoon-inducing than Justin Bieber. Watch it below!
When the acne-ridden, perpetually coughing Carl Blue (played by comedian Nick Kroll) comes to her door to paint her house, Gomez -- who had been reading James' sexually charged book prior to his arrival -- finds herself enraptured by how "gorgeous" he is. She's so smitten, in fact, that she narrates the remainder of the video in a 50 Shades-style voiceover.
Unfortunately, Gomez doesn't actually say anything to the crass Carl Blue -- who does nothing but cough and tell her that her house smells like cat food -- so her decision to write her number and "hugs and kisses" on the bill comes a bit out of left field.
"For a girl who doesn't talk at all, you have full-on creeped me out," Blue says. "This has been bizarre."
After he leaves, Gomez is seen standing in her house, touching the still-wet, poorly painted wall that Blue had been working on.
"The last remnants of Carl Blue were still fresh in my mind," Gomez narrates with James' signature melodramatic tone. "He had changed me. I'll never be the same."
In case you missed it, Saturday Night Live also hilariously spoofed 50 Shades of Grey for its Mother's Day episode. We can't wait to see who's next to poke fun at the best-selling erotic novel. Perhaps Biebs will take a crack?
