Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are making waves on their sudden trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. After the 19-year-old Disney star was spotted wearing a conspicuous diamond ring on her left hand's ring finger, rumors started speculating that Bieber, 17, had popped the question.
Could the two teen lovebirds have decided to marry at such a young age? Not so, confirms Gomez's rep. "She is not engaged," the rep tells Us Weekly.
That's good news to the hordes of Beliebers who wouldn't want JB off the market before he's even old enough to vote or drink. But the two did fly to Cabo for a wedding -- just not theirs. Gomez is a bridesmaid for her Wizards of Waverly Place costume designer Sharon LaRossi, TMZ reports.
While Hollywood's most famous teen couple may not be headed down the aisle right now, it wouldn't be out of the question for them to get hitched in their early 20s, if they can go the distance.
"If the time is right, I definitely want to be married by 25," Bieber told Women's Wear Daily in September. "[But] I'm not looking to get married now."
In the meantime, fans will continue to be treated to news about Bieber taking photos of bikini-clad Gomez, stepping out for a romantic movie date, or the two pet lovers adopting another dog.
