Like many teen girls, Disney star Selena Gomez admits she can be "so awkward around guys." Luckily, the 17-year-old actress -- who ended her romance with Nick Jonas in March -- has her 10-year-old Ramona and Beezus costar to offer boy advice.
So what words of wisdom does Joey King have to share? "You know, I just give her the normal advice," she tells iVillage exclusively. "You’ve got to be yourself. If they don’t like you for who you are then, whatever. Get rid of them." Sounds like sage words to us!
In their new family comedy (which hits theaters July 23), Gomez and King play the dueling sisters from the classic children's books. And even though the actress plays the older, more reserved Beezus, she says she was definitely more of a Ramona growing up. "I was always talking to people, always trying to be the life of the party," Gomez admits. "And (I was) very loud!"
