The Super Bowl is one of the most anticipated and widely viewed sporting events of the year. People bet on everything from who wins the coin toss to who ultimately wins the game, but the only sure bet is that everyone loves a good Super Bowl party.I like to call my fiesta a "Souper Bowl" party, because during the cold winter months a soup buffet is the perfect way to feed an energetic crowd. Prepare a pot of hearty soup like Beef and Barley French Onion, or give your guests a choice of two varieties. Serve soups simmering on the stove, or use Crock-Pots® to maintain the ideal temperature. Since some people don't want to miss commercials and others insist on seeing every second of the game, have mugs by the soup so guests can eat at their leisure. I always have a few appetizers and simple desserts scattered around so that I don't lose my place on the sofa by spending too much time in the kitchen.Impress your guests with some of these delicious Super Bowl foods:
- Beef and Barley French Onion Soup
- Chicken and Sun Dried Tomato Chili
- Walnut Spinach Cheese Bread
