9/11 Special Features New York's Finest

On the season 33 premiere in 2002, Sesame Street chose to indirectly address the attacks of 9/11. When a fire started at Hooper's Store, a team of New York City firefighters showed up to help. Firefighters appeared on the next three episodes to help children develop strategies for coping with fear, loss, diversity and bullies.
