C-sections are so common that it's easy to forget that it's a major surgery. If you live in a multi-level house, you'll want to avoid climbing stairs as much as possible during the first week or two that you're home. Set up the bassinet and a diaper-changing area on the floor where you'll spend most of your time and ideally near the rocker or glider where you'll be resting and feeding your baby. And make and freeze some family meals ahead of time -- so you'll have easy meals on hand that someone else can prepare.
