Remember when you could barely wait to slide under the covers each night -- and sleep was the last thing on your mind? When midnight during the workweek wasn't too late for lovemaking?
Now, instead of sex, your mind is on the PTA meeting and the brownies you need to bake for your second grader's class party tomorrow. Sex is still satisfying, but to be honest, it's a bit too predictable. It's easy to forget just how delicious a night of passion can be. It's not too late to turn up the heat, and bring that intensity and excitement back into your lovemaking.
1. Make sex a priority. When you want to save money, you're advised to always "pay yourself first." If you don't, then there will be nothing left over by the end of the month. You no doubt would have found something else to spend it on. So too with planning for sex. If you don't give energy and time to lovemaking, it never seems to happen. It is delegated to the bottom of your priority list. Set a time. Anytime. And watch your marriage begin to heat up!
2. Explore the pleasures of the senses. Touch can be a powerful sex enhancer. Loving touch causes a number of hormones to surge, including oxytocin and endorphins. Just thinking of being touched can cause an oxytocin surge, creating the desire for more. Massage is one special way of giving pleasure to your lover.
3. Wear sexy undies. Most women save these delights for special occasions. What would you like to be caught in if you happen to be peeling in front of Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson or Sean Connery? It wouldn't be the utilitarian white cotton bra and the rarely-matching frayed panties, I'm sure. And don't just wear sexy underthings for him. Use it to help enhance your own sexy self-image.
