Working side by side from their HBO television debut in 1999 through 2008's hit movie, the SATC cast are gearing up for the premiere of the highly anticipated Sex and the City 2 -- and opening up about whether or not they only truly bond as best buddies on screen.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon sat down recently with Marie Claire to once and for all clear the air. Cattrall, 53, who has often been at the brunt of the rumors, told the magazine, "Things just have to be explosive for no other reason than for people's imaginations. The chemistry among the four of us is very strong."
Cattrall went on to acknowledge that, despite their hectic work schedules, "There's a camaraderie that happened through all of that." Parker, 45, also talked about how much that time effected their relationships, "When you're on set, you're working 90-hour weeks, you're never home, you're exhausted."
Nixon, 44, agreed, "It hasn't always been smooth sailing. But, the idea that we're somehow adversarial is ludicrous." Davis, 45, also thinks the notion that they hate each other at all times is, "Ridiculous!"
Parker, who graces the Marie Claire cover solo, went on to say, "There are times when all of us have been sensitive, and sometimes feelings get hurt. But I don't have any regrets about how I've treated people."
