Shanna Moakler Speaks Out on Travis Barker Crash
Shanna Moakler is checking in with friends and supporters of her ex-husband Travis Barker, who was badly burned, along with pal Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein, in Friday's jet crash. She has released this statement:
"There are not enough words to express how thankful we are for the outpouring of love and support we have received during this very difficult time. We can only ask for prayers as we heal and mourn the loss of our dear friends who we considered part of our family. Our lives will be changed forever."
Travis and Shanna were very close with Trav's assistant, Chris Baker and the drummer's security guard, Charles Still, who perished in the terrible accident. A coroner in South Carolina determined Monday that the pilot and co-pilot died from smoke inhalation and burns while Chris and Charles were killed by impact-related injuries.
A memorial fund has been set up for the men.
"With heavy hearts we offer our deepest condolences to their family and friends," Travis' clothing line, the Famous Family, said in a statement Monday that expressed "utmost sympathy and regret. They will always remain in our thoughts and prayers."
