Shannen Doherty Not Impressed by Nicole's 'DWTS' Win

Does the Beverly Hills 90210 alum agree with fans who think the Pussycat Doll's dance experience gave her an unfair edge?

Shannen Doherty was hardly surprised by the results of this season's Dancing with The Stars. But is she being a sore loser (having been eliminated earlier this season after the first tally of viewer votes) or simply stating what some DWTS fans felt -- that Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger had an unfair advantage on the dance floor?

At a disco-themed party sponsored by Elle magazine in Los Angeles, Doherty, 39, told E! candidly, "Nicole's an amazing dancer and singer. So it's hard to compete with that."

When asked if she thought that Scherzinger, 31, had a leg up in the competition because of her professional background learning slick choreography for Pussycat Dolls concerts and videos, Doherty, who was the first contestant to be eliminated this season, replied "Yeah, you know...whatever. In the long run, it's up to the fans. It's a bit of a mixed bag over there."

Scherzinger, on the other hand, isn't feeling the effects of any criticism about her pre-DWTS experience. On a post-victory visit to Good Morning America, the singer/dancer said, "I was genuinely surprised (I won). I had the most amazing people I was dancing up against. It was so awesome. It's still surreal."
