What's up with rivals welcoming babies on the same day?
Two weeks after Tom Cruise and Brooke Shields welcomed new additions on the same day, Kobe Bryant and his former teammate/nemesis Shaquille O'Neal both became daddies again today.
Shaq and his wife, Shaunie, welcomed a daughter, Me'arah Sanaa O'Neal, at 4:57 this morning in Miami. She's the couple's fourth child together.
Meanwhile, Kobe and his wife, Vanessa, welcomed their second daughter at 2:03am in Orange County, Calif. Her name is Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant.
Unlike Grier Henchy and Suri Cruise, these babies weren't born next door to each other in the same hospital... though there's definitely something peculiar about the fact that they were hatched on the same day at basically the same time.
