WATCH: Sharon Osbourne Breaks Down Over Son Jack's MS Diagnosis

The co-host of The Talk tears up as she discusses her son's health struggles

Sharon Osbourne had a difficult time discussing her son Jack Osbourne's recent announcement that he's been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

On her daytime show The Talk, Osbourne got emotional as she told her co-hosts about Jack's diagnosis, which the 25-year-old new father just made public over the weekend.

"He's great -- he's doing really, really good and I want to thank everyone for all their texts and goodwill and love they send to us," she said after a tearful pause to regain her composure.

Fellow host Julie Chen assured Sharon that Jack is "an amazing guy, he's very courageous." She then asked the protective mama, "What else do you want say Mrs. O?"

The cancer survivor went on to take the opportunity to thank the outpouring of support from her family's fans.

"Just thank you to everyone for all their good wishes," said Sharon. "It's been amazing … for Jack 'cause I really believe that vibes of prayer help."

Osbourne previously told Hello magazine that when she first heard about the news, which Jack received only two weeks after his fiancee Lisa Stelly gave birth to their daughter Pearl, she wondered if she was to blame.

"I keep thinking, 'what did I do wrong? What did I eat or drink when I was pregnant?' I feel like it's somehow my fault."
