• "I ordered Richard Simmons' 'Dance Your Pants Off.' It came with three videos -- one aerobic, one upper body and one lower body -- and some stretchy bands to use with the latter two videos. The video is fun with all 80s music. It took me about four times of doing it to get all the moves down pat. I've wanted to quit several times but I keep doing it and I feel terrific. I exercise while my baby is taking a nap, and I worry about cleaning the house later!"
• "Well I'm glad you guys can do those videos! I buy them, watch them, then forget about them. I found something that really works for me -- I bought myself a treadmill. Now when my son is in school and the baby is sleeping I walk while watching 'Days of our Lives.' And before I know it the show is over, I'm sweating like a pig and I've walked a mile or two!"
• "I just joined a gym and I love it! The best thing is, they have a nursery. I have a four-year-old and she loves it, my six-month-old seems to enjoy watching the other kids. Lately I've felt like I needed to find something to do, something to help me get out of the house and I needed a break. Now I have somewhere to go for about an hour and a half during the day, my daughter gets to play with other kids, I can get in shape at the same time, and I can also have adult conversation."
• "I gained 70 pounds while I was pregnant, and a year later, I still have 30. Before, I was called 'twiggy' and 'anorexic' (I weighed barely 130, and I'm 6'1"). Now, at 160, I'm no longer a 2x4. It took some work to tone the extra weight up, but overall I'm glad I kept the weight. It did take some getting used to, I wear three sizes larger, but I think it's better now. I just wanted to tell people this, because while losing weight is most people's goal, getting some was mine, and I'm proud of it now."
