Who Was the Third Person Voted Off 'Dancing with the Stars'?

After a high-energy rock night on Dancing with the Stars, the reality show had it's first bona fide shocker of the season. Unlike previous weeks when R&B legend Gladys Knight and singer Gavin DeGraw were in the bottom two, this week it came down to two popular couples.

The View host Sherri Shepherd and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Disney star Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower. Considering Shepherd's charisma and Fegan's high scores, the last-place finishes took the judges and the audience by surprise.

"All of us judges are in total shock," head judge Len Goodman said. "This is beyond ... The standard is so high, anyone can be in jeopardy, anyone can be safe."

Eventually Tom Bergeron announced that Shepherd and Chmerkovskiy had been booted out of the ballroom.

"I just want to say thank you for letting me live a dream I've always had," Shepherd said tearfully. "I had the most amazing partner, Val Chmerkovskiy. That thing that scares you the most ... run towards it because it's so amazing on the other side ... I had the most amazing time."

The remaining nine contestants are: Gavin DeGraw, Donald Driver, Roshon Fegan, Melissa Gilbert, Katherine Jenkins, Gladys Knight, William Levy,  Maria Menounos and Jaleel White.
