If you think you can’t lead a full life without a man, Sheryl Crow would like you to think again. The 47-year-old ended her engagement to Lance Armstrong in 2005, and was diagnosed with breast cancer weeks later, but rather than turn back to her ex, Crow forged ahead with treatment. She not only beat breast cancer, she adopted a son (Wyatt, now 2). On "Diamond Ring," off her 2008 album Detours, Crow sang about multiple failed engagements, and she told Rolling Stone: "The diamond ring seems to symbolize so much... but at the end of the day it doesn't create any type of foundation." In September, the singer crowed to Natural Living: "I have this great little boy who has enhanced my life in a million different ways. And I have a job I really love."
