When you shop, do you feel like a kid in a candy store or do you feel three feet tall? Do you invite friends or family along as an entourage when you are on a mission to find something new? Or are you happy shopping alone? Of course it’s more fun to shop with a friend ...but it's not American Idol and you don't need the opinion of three judges! Ask yourself do you have similar taste? Or do they always hate what you like? Are they supportive and not overly critical? Are they pushy? Otherwise are you going to end up with that leopard skin spandex top that is going to sit in your closet forever? Are they bored and can't wait to leave the store, and somehow suddenly everything looks great that you have tried on for them? Could they jealous of your new weight loss? Is your husband afraid that you look TOO HOT in that dress? Are they on your case about your recent weight gain?
--"Stick with black it's more sliimming for your figure."This often happens when you shop with a close relative like your mom or your sister. They know how to push your buttons and that can distract you from your goals.
So, think about your last shopping trip...would you of been more successful shopping alone or with company?
