Heather Morris can dance like Beyonce and sing like Britney -- but can she slay like Buffy? Morris, who plays sweet-but-clueless cheerleader Brittany on Glee, says she is being considered for the part of the sassy vampire slayer in the upcoming Buffy film remake.
"I found out and almost peed my pants 'cause I was so excited!" Morris, 23, gushed to Access Hollywood. She's so excited about the project that she wants to be involved, even if she's not in the title role. "I don't even care what I do," she says. "I can just run through the shot and do nothing."
Heather Morris is one of our hands-down favorite Glee kids, but we can think of a few more girls we'd like to see fill Buffy's stylish-yet-affordable shoes (previously occupied by Kristy Swanson in the original film and Sarah Michelle Gellar in the TV series). Here are 3 girls who could hold their own against a vampire invasion.
Emma Stone - She's far from a dumb blonde, but the sassy Easy A star, 22, could add some toughness and humor to the role.
Saoirse Ronan - The sixteen-year-old Irish actress has really only done dramas like The Lovely Bones and Atonement, but she's always great -- and we'd love to see how she plays a typical American teen.
Hailee Steinfeld - The breakout star of True Grit, 14-year-old Steinfeld is a real California girl who has proven she can tackle a challenging character head-on.
The Buffy movie is still in pre-production, and has already caused some controversy by going ahead without creator Joss Whedon's blessing.
