Simon Cowell Makes Top TV Cash

It's good to be Simon Cowell.

Forbes magazine has named the sharp-tongued American Idol judge as the top-earning male on prime-time television -- figuring that, between his judging and his music producing/publishing, Simon raked in about $75 million last year.

Not too shabby, huh?

What's even nicer for Simon is that he gets to put business mogul Donald Trump in his place – as The Apprentice star comes in second on Forbes' list of top TV men. The Donald is estimated to have made about $50 million last year – you know, pocket change for him.

Rounding out the top five are Simon's best bud Ryan Seacrest, who earned $38 million, and Two and a Half Men's Charlie Sheen and The Office's Steve Carrell, who took in $21 million and $20 million, respectively.
