'Sinister' (Oct. 11)

Short Story:
What would you do if you found footage of a family who was murdered in your new home? If you're true-crime author Ellison Oswalt (Ethan Hawke), you become obsessively fascinated with the footage and the story behind the slain family. But Ellison's obsession quickly puts him and his family in the path of a supernatural entity. Which is never really a good thing.

What They're Saying:
"Occasionally stupid (stretching even fright-flick conventions) but scary nonetheless, the pic should please horror fans." -- The Hollywood Reporter

Good for Kids?
Easily spooked audience members should take caution before seeing Sinister, and little ones will need parental supervision. The film has an R-rating for disturbing violent images and some terror.
