The Situation's New GTL Routine: Gym, Tan, (Green Your) Laundry

Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino: six-pack-flashing star of Jersey Shore, hapless (yet oddly charming) contestant on Dancing with the Stars, and now ... eco warrior?

Yep. The Situation has teamed with the creators of The Green Garmento, which starts as a hamper bag, transforms into a duffle (for carrying all of your Ed Hardy shirts to the dry cleaner), turns into a laundry bag, and then, after cleaning, becomes a garment bag for hanging clothes. The four-in-one product means less single-use plastic bags, twist ties, shoulder covers and other waste.

The Situation has put his own spin on The Green Garmento product with a special "GTL" version, available in black and green, and with a "tribal" design.

"There's nothing sexy about plastic bags," he noted in a press release. Indeed.

I'm not sure I'd want to rock The Situation's bag, but the concept of an all-in-one carrier deserves a fist pump, don't you think?

The GTL bag will eventually be available at retailers and, of course, at gyms and tanning salons. For now, you can buy one for $12 on The Green Garmento web site.
