Because of the popularity of smoothies in our community, I have created this new batch of recipes for various occasions and times of day, and I hope you will be inspired to create your own. Here's to your health!
Breakfast Smoothie
Serves 2 to 3
- 2 bananas
- 8-ounce can crushed pineapple
- 1/3 cup mango pieces
- 2 cut peaches
- 1 cup low-fat milk
Combine ingredients in a blender until smooth and serve.
After-Workout Smoothie
Serves 2 to 3
A slightly tart, yet refreshing smoothie to enjoy after a workout.
- 1 cup halved strawberries
- 2 cut fresh apricots
- 2 bananas
- 6 ounces fresh raspberries
- 1 cup low-fat milk
Combine ingredients in a blender until smooth and serve.
Dessert Smoothie
Serves 2 to 3
- 8-ounce can pineapple chunks
- 2 bananas
- 1 papaya
- 1 cup milk

Kid-Friendly Smoothie
Serves 2 to 3
Your children will love the color of this purple smoothie.
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 2 bananas
- 6 ounces blackberries
Combine ingredients in a blender until smooth and serve.
Cocktail Smoothie
Serves 1 to 2
Enjoy this refreshing smoothie on a warm summer night.
- 8-ounce can crushed pineapple
- 1 papaya, seeded and diced
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tablespoon Coco Lopez coconut mixer
