Crab Cakes
New England Clam Chowder

There’s something fishy about the Atlantic Coast rivalry between Maryland and Boston, as the almighty Maryland crab cake squares off against the traditional-as-it-gets New England clam chowder. Both dishes are institutions (and just about everybody’s very first go-to order when they step foot into Boston or Baltimore).

The Creole honey-mustard sauce served alongside these extra-crispy crab cakes will turn any crabby frown upside-down. And the chowder has bacon in it (as if chowder wasn’t already all sorts of creamy fabulousness on its own). For this match-up, you get to play the ref with all the power. So, who are you going to blow your whistle for?
