Don't classify this one under "meatball problems." According to The New York Post, SRG Ventures has leveled a $7 million counterclaim against 24-year-old Jersey Store starlet Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi after she said they didn't fulfill their obligations to her.
SRG and Polizzi had partnered to launch a series of Snooki-related merchandise, but in October the guidette filed a suit saying the company didn't make her enough money or create enough branding opportunities. Now, SRG is saying that Snooki sabotaged their relationship by negotiating with other companies and not moving fast enough on the opportunities available. According to SRG, they had lined up deals to make Snooki-inspired school supplies, watches, shoes and lingerie.
"Ms. Polizzi disputes SRG's version of the facts and looks forward to her day in court," a rep for Snooki says.
Snooki just launched her eponymous perfume line in November, a first for the pint-sized star. The fifth season of Jersey Shore premieres on MTV Jan. 5.
