Despite interest groups clamoring for MTV to pull the plug on its controversial reality hit, Jersey Shore, other media outlets can't seem to get enough of its trainwreck cast. Following up her abysmal Jay Walking All-Stars performance on The Jay Leno Show, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi returned to chat with Leno for last night's Ten @ Ten segment.
Snooki -- who quickly became Jersey Shore's most talked about cast member after she was punched in the face by a guy at a bar while filming the new series -- talked to Leno about her New Year's Eve, her biggest breakup (which obviously involved "guidos"), and why she's so against the Bump It hair accessory.
When Leno inquired what her favorite junk food was, Snooki replied, "I would say pickles," after which Leno questioned whether it was really junk food: "Isn't a pickle a cucumber?" he asked. Naturally, Snooki shrugged, "Is it?"
Leno's literacy question was the segment's best. Asked about the last book she read, Snooki candidly revealed, "I tried to read Twilight but, you know, it got boring like the second page. There's no pictures, so I'm not reading it."
While Twilight might be too challenging, Snooki admitted she now reads tabloids -- but only because she's in them.
