Snooki Makes Big Money...for Walking

The pint-sized star reportedly makes $20K to walk a red carpet, but just in case, here are some other job options for her

Jersey Shore's biggest star, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, has few discernible talents other than being her own unique self. Fortunately, that's all she has to do to get the big bucks. According to Us Weekly, Snooki charges a cool $20K to walk down the red carpet at events. (Why would anyone pay this? Because Snooki's attendance makes their event paparazzi-worthy, that's why.) Her appearance fee supplements the major salary that Polizzi is already getting from MTV for Jersey Shore, which is rumored to be anywhere from $10K to $45K per episode. With that kind of cash, Snooki should be set for life, right?

On the other hand -- Snooki doesn't strike us as someone who knows how to wisely invest money. And chances are that her Jersey Shore fame will one day end as abruptly as it began. So just as a security blanket, here are a few other career paths that Snooki may want to pursue:

Political pundit. Snooki's comments about President Obama's tanning-bed tax ("I feel like he did that intentionally for us") and John McCain's apparent cuteness got major press this year. Does Fox News need a Jersey correspondent?

Professional spray-tanner. Snooki must already keep the spray-tanning industry in business, with her day-glo orange skin. As a professional spray-tanner, she could specialize in touching up things that are supposed to be orange, such as traffic cones and Cheetos.

Gorilla matchmaker. A good guido juicehead gorilla is hard to find, so maybe Snooki should start the first matchmaking site exclusively for Italian stereotypes!

Lindsay Lohan impersonator. Every party needs one, and the nice judge has already given her an excellent endorsement.

Do you think Snooki will have a career after Jersey Shore? Chime in below!
