Snooki has been taking some time off from throwing back drinks, designing slippers and chasing boys to log some time in a recording studio. But are we about to hear a smash dance track from Jersey Shore's pint-sized pickle lover?
Not quite. (Thank goodness!) Snooks (real name: Nicole Polizzi) is the new chief spokesperson for Personix.com, a new tech-advanced personalized phone and social media message service launching this summer.
Instead of laying down a music track, Snooki, along with other celebrities, has recorded personalized greetings. And with her new gig comes the star treatment! According to PopEater.com, Personix.com showered the reality star with gifts like flowers and champagne and provided her with a driver, a bodyguard and even a personal chef!
But not all the celebs got such fancy-shmancy treatment. The company's founder/CEO Gary Kawesch dished to PopEater that comedian Andy Dick felt a bit snubbed when he didn't get half of what Snooki did.
"I just didn't expect to have a celebrity like Andy Dick to pitch such a diva fit, and so what if I didn't make such a big deal of his studio experience," she said. "He's just gotta get over it, and to be honest, Snooki is the star!"
