Move over, JWOWW -- there's a new party girl in town! Season 3 of the Jersey Shore is currently filming down in Seaside Heights, and there's a new, tan face soaking up some screen time.
Meet Deena Cortese, good friend of Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, and the freshest member of the Jersey Shore cast. Cortese and Polizzi met through an ex-boyfriend about two years ago, and Cortese says she and the MTV breakout star are "two peas in a pod."
"(Snooki) basically needed a partner-in-crime in the house, and me and her are exactly alike … It kind of scares me," Cortese, 23, told the Television Critics Association over the weekend. "She was like, 'Deena, get you’re ‘a’ down here to Seaside. We’re going to party.'”
While the girls may have a ton of similarities, the New Egypt, NJ, native says she's not quite as romance-hungry as her counterpart seems to be.
"The difference between me and Nicole is she’s looking for love and I just don’t give a f— what guys think," she said. "Basically I’m the one just going out there, trying to have a good time. We’re all having a good time, but I’m just there for a freakin’ blast."
As for what she's hoping to get out of this experience, well, it is exactly what you would expect from a Jersey Shore newbie. Cortese revealed her recipe for the perfect night out: "A lot of shots, dancing on bars, meeting boys and being loud and obnoxious."
Sounds like a perfect fit.
