A few months ago on Snooki & JWOWW, we watched Snooki give birth to baby Lorenzo with a full face of makeup (including false eyelashes), a leopard-print gown and long nails. At the time we had so many questions: Who has the time (or energy) to apply makeup between contractions? Where do you find hospital gowns like that? Was she wearing sky-high heels?
While we still don't know if Snooki actually gave birth wearing a pair of crazy pumps, we now know just how she prepared her beauty regimen for Lorenzo's grand entrance. Apparently, her hospital bag was well-stocked with all of the essentials for the birth of her child -- you know, bronzer, red lipstick and cosmetics. In a recent blog on CelebBuzz, Snooki gave advice to Kim Kardashian on what eye shadow color to bring and why looking good for your baby is so important. Read her tips below:
Why Makeup Is Essential
"First impressions are everything, so when you meet your baby for the first time, you have to look flawless."
How to Fit in Mascara Applications Between Contractions
"If your face is already made up when your water breaks, you have plenty of time to do it in the hospital when you're waiting to dilate. I waited 27 hours, and the whole time, I just put on makeup and watched cartoons."
Why Your Makeup Palette Matters
"You also have to make sure you choose your makeup palettes wisely, because the hospital rooms are boring, the walls are white; it's just not a good look."
What Makeup to Pack in Your Hospital Bag
"Go for pink or red lips, rather than nudes and remember to keep an extra pair of eyelashes in your purse, just in case your water breaks when you're not at home. Or, just do like I did and bring a whole box."
