Who is the most desirable woman in the world according to the website AskMen.com? That would be -- drum roll, please -- Modern Family bombshell Sofia Vergara. The 39-year-old Colombian has been a show-stopper on the small screen and on red carpets this awards season, and the men of the world have been watching.
"I am so honored to be AskMen's most desired woman this year," Vergara says on her website. A big thank you to all the men who desire me."
Vergara's Modern Family costar Eric Stonestreet took to Twitter to comment on the news. "If @SofiaVergara is the most desirable woman in the world, then @jessetyler and I win," he tweeted, along with a photo of himself and his onscreen hubby Jesse Tyler Ferguson posing with Vergara.
Nipping at Vergara's very desirable heels are 98 other women worthy of lust and adoration. Rounding out the top 10 are Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton at No. 2, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo star Rooney Mara at No. 3, new mommy Miranda Kerr at No. 4, singer Nicki Minaj at No. 5, Emma Stone at No. 6, Scarlett Johansson at No. 7, Kim Kardashian at No. 8, Rihanna at 9 and Victoria's Secret model Candice Swanepoel at No. 10.
Last year's list-topper Blake Lively plummeted all the way to No. 32. Maybe dating Ryan Reynolds -- also known as one of humanity's more perfect creatures -- was a bit of a turn-off to most men.
Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton just missed the top 10 by grabbing the No. 11 slot on the list. Recently single Katy Perry claimed No. 16, and Harry Potter's little darling that could, Emma Watson, earned the No. 17 spot.
Lady Gaga managed to carve out the 18th spot on the list, while Twilight star Kristen Stewart jumped from No. 90 last year to No. 27 this year (apparently giving violent birth to a vampire-human hybrid baby in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 agreed with her). Speaking of publicized pregnancies, new momma Beyonce maintained her spot on the list at No. 39.
George Clooney's girlfriend Stacy Keibler landed at No. 45, recently fired X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger earned spot 46 and The Hunger Games leading lady Jennifer Lawrence punched in at 47th. Taylor Swift can be considered a bona fide babe now that she landed No. 60. And -- maybe because she channeled Marilyn Monroe this year or simply because she's turned into a blond bombshell in her own right -- Oscar nominee Michelle Williams landed at No. 63 on the list.
Despite her marital issues and recent health crisis, Demi Moore can take comfort in the fact that, at age 49, she still is considered to be one of the hottest women in the world (she landed at No. 80). And vocal problems aside, men apparently found Adele to be a lady to desire this year as she landed at No. 92 on the list, while Megan Fox dropped to 96th.
