Sofia Vergara and her fiance Nick Loeb definitely did not start 2013 off on the right foot. The couple was partying in Miami on New Year's Eve, but the festivities soon turned sour when Loeb started a fight with those around him and Vergara got involved.
As reported by The New York Post's Page Six, the party Vergara and Loeb attended was hosted by her ex from the 1990s, Chris Paciello. Loeb was reportedy "tense" around Paciello "even though he and Sofia are just friends." It's unclear whether that was what caused Loeb and Vergara to start arguing, but something started a fight that Loeb soon took out on a neighboring table.
"Some pushing and shoving started," a witness tells the Post. "Sofia stepped in to try to calm the situation, but somehow she ended up getting pushed and shoved also. Her strapless [Mason by Michelle Mason] dress was torn or pulled down in the melee, exposing her cleavage in front of other people."
Manolo, Vergara's 20-year-old son, was reportedly "so offended he left the club. For the record, Vergara wasn't hit during the brawl, but Loeb was allegedly badly bruised when he was taken out of the VIP section by security.
"Nick was pulled away from Sofia and those at the next table by security guards, who dragged him out of the VIP section and threw him out of the club. Sofia followed him," the source says. "[They] made up outside the club."
