Rumor has it that superstar Adele and boyfriend Simon Konecki welcomed a baby boy last weekend. Though no official details or a name have been released, we bet the Grammy-winning artist is already serenading her boy.
Her lovelorn ballads aren't exactly lullabies, of course, but with a few tweaks, they're actually perfect for the nursery. Here's our best guess about the tunes that Adele will be singing in the months to come.
Rolling in the Deep
Adele won the "Song of the Year" Grammy this year for her powerhouse megahit, "Rolling in the Deep" -- but now that her baby is here, she's probably rolling in something a little different during those 8 to 10 newborn diaper changes each day: "I can't help feeling…We couldn't breathe at all, rolling in the poop...I had the wipes in my hand and you used them in a week."
Rumor Has It
If Adele is breastfeeding, something other than her pipes will be in high demand and she might just sing this about Simon: "He, he ain't mom. He ain't goin' be able to feed you like I will. He is a father...Booby has it. Booby has it. Booby has it -- booby has it, I'm the one you're crying for."
Chasing Pavements
Though Adele's breakthrough hit, "Chasing Pavement" questioned whether to leave a dead-end relationship, she's probably trying to chase her baby into dreamland now: "Do I give up or do I just keep rocking baby? Even if it leads to nowhere? Or would it be a waste, even if I quickened my pace? Should I just rock him here?"
Someone Like You
It was the breakup anthem for all newly single ladies this year, but one day, Adele may miss her baby's lovie way more than any man if it goes missing: "Nevermind, I'll find Elmo for you. I wish nothing but that toy for you. Don't forget I'm Mom, I'll do it for you. Sometimes we find the Elmo we lost, sometimes we buy him instead."
