Sophia Loren is co-starring in the upcoming musical Nine -- and looking at the photos, it's clear that the 75-year-old Italian bombshell still has what it takes. How has she stayed so beautiful? By saying "no" to cosmetic surgery.
The actress, who became an international sensation in the '60s, has told PEOPLE magazine that her looks are 100% natural. "I don't believe in having work done, because then everybody looks the same," she says.
These days, it's rare to find an actress over 30 who hasn't gone under the knife, though few admit it. But there are some hold-outs. Cate Blanchett isn't fully opposed to it, but says her husband would divorce her if she had work done. Kate Winslet has said, "I want to be able to really show the expressions on my face." Jodie Foster, Julianne Moore and Drew Barrymore have all said they want to stay natural. Jane Fonda and Sally Field, who've both had work done in the past, made a pact with each other not to have any more.
As for Loren, she's always defied industry standards of how an actress should behave. When asked how she maintained her figure, she once famously said "Everything you see I owe to spaghetti!"
