On top of the Bernie Mac sadness, let me add some more, as the world has lost another huge talent in soul singer Isaac Hayes. The Oscar and Grammy-winning musician died Sunday at his home in Memphis. He was 65.
Though the cause of death has not been officially determined, it is being assumed that Isaac died from natural causes. A family member found him unresponsive next to his running treadmill.
The music man, who had a resurgence of fame after voicing Chef on South Park from 1997-2206, had a history of high blood pressure, according to his family, and had recently been treated for various medical conditions. In 2006 it was reported that he had suffered mild stroke.
