You'll need a wok to fry the rolls; make sure the oil is hot enough that a sprinkle of water pings when dropped in.
| 1 package spring roll wrappers | Small pile shredded cheddar or jack cheese | |
| 1 pound ground turkey, chicken or beef | 1 head shredded green cabbage | |
| 1 teaspoon seasoning salt | Sunflower oil | |
| 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper | 1 dollop or so chili sauce | |
| 1 medium white onion, chopped | 1 dollop or so salsa | |
| 2 cloves minced garlic |
Remove spring roll wrappers from the package and cover with a damp towel to keep from drying out.
Put ground meat in a bowl and add salt, pepper, onion and garlic. Combine well with chili sauce and salsa. Saute meat, breaking it up as it cooks.
To assemble the rolls (be sure not to overstuff): Spread out one wrapper. Sprinkle cabbage on wrapper. Add a small amount of beef and sprinkle on some cheese. Roll wrapper nice and tight and seal with a bit of water.
Slide rolls into fryer, making sure not to overcrowd the wok. Keep rolls turning in the oil and cook for about 3-4 minutes. Remove, drain and enjoy!
