Build anticipation by listening to the performer's music before the show. Make a mixed CD or playlist of their songs and listen to it with your child in the car or at home. "It is much more enjoyable for you and the kids if you all are familiar with the music beforehand," says Kimberly Petro,[Who is she? Where is she from?] who took her two daughters to their first concert last August. "We listened to the Jonas Brothers the entire month leading up to the concert so we were able to sing along with all of the songs that night."
