This just got interesting!
The breakup of Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer was the big news yesterday, but now a more interesting spin on the demise of their relationship has surfaced. According to a source for the Chicago Sun-Times, Jen was not happy with John's inability to be a one-woman guy.
It was "Jen who decided to move on," says the friend, who is reportedly very close to the actress. "She is very fond of John and has thought he might be the one. She finds him funny, sexy and very talented. ... Plus he understands all the aspects of living in a fishbowl. But in the final analysis, she just got tired of his roving eye."
It seems Jen gave John the "three strikes and you're out" ultimatum -- after finding out about his "quickie" flings with a cocktail waitress and a promoter's assistant for his concert tour. Then he reportedly hooked up with a groupie -- and that was the final straw.
Another insider said that Jen is just not interested in wasting time with someone who doesn't want to be serious. "Above everything else, Jennifer is looking for stability and loyalty in a relationship," they said. "She still is hurting from losing Brad [Pitt] to Angelina [Jolie] -- even after all this time."
At least Jen isn't holding on to someone who's not going to give her what she wants. Sounds like she made a smart move.
