Spencer Backs Out of Legal Marriage Ceremony to Heidi
The other day, my husband was flipping through an Us Weekly that had Speidi's "wedding" on the cover and he said, "I just don't understand anything about this Heidi and Spencer. Why are they famous?"
Could there be a more valid question?
But the reality (get it?) is that, for some ungodly reason, people care about them. So, for those sad souls (me included), here's some more news.
The big Hills season finale ended last night with Spencer Pratt backing out of the courthouse wedding ceremony that would have made his Mexican marriage to Heidi Montag legal. In an extremely uncharacteristic move, Spencer told his girl, "I just want to give you the wedding of your dreams that you have been talking about for three years. I'll deal with it It's worth it to be with you the rest of my life. We'll do it the way you want, I'm sorry, I love you so much."
On the Hills after-show, Speidi appeared live in studio for the first time, where, Spence said, "Things are better since we didn't legalize the wedding. Now I can live throughout 2009. They didn't show the look of death in her [mom's] eyes on the episode!"
You know what this means, right? MTV wedding. I apologize in advance for covering it.
