| 1 t ground cumin | 1/4 c roasted tahini (sesame seed paste) | |
| 1 t ground coriander | 1 clv garlic, minced | |
| 1/2 t freshly ground black pepper | 3 T olive oil | |
| 1/4 t crushed red pepper flakes | 1/4 c fresh lemon juice | |
| 16 oz (1 can) chick peas, drained | 1 t kosher salt |
Drain chick peas
Place in food processor with all remaining ingredients
Puree to desired consistency using pulse setting, scraping down bowl periodically
Add water, if needed, to create desired consistency
Serve at room temperature
