|2 tablespoons vegetable oil||1/2 teaspoon salt|
|2 medium onions, sliced||1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper|
|1 can (15 oz.) Cajun seasoned red kidney beans, rinsed|
Prepare rice according to package directions.
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
Add onions and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
Stir in beans, broth, salt, ground black pepper, and cooked rice.
Cook 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through.
